Staying across from the Astronomical Clock was a dream! We could see the hourly performances right from our cozy room. The breakfast at Cafe Mozart was not only delicious but offered amazing views, making every morning a delight!

Staying just a few steps away from the iconic Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock made my weekend wanderings absolutely magical. I could easily pop in and out to enjoy authentic Czech food at nearby restaurants and relax at the lovely Cafe Mozart, which is a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the cobblestoned streets.

The central location made it incredibly convenient to explore nearby attractions, with festive markets right outside. The spacious room offered a comfortable bed and ample amenities. Appreciating the organic fruits at breakfast was a highlight, but the noise from outside, though manageable, could be disruptive at times. Overall, the helpful staff and charming atmosphere made for an enjoyable stay.

Recommend it for first-timers

We stayed for a good 3 nights in a Beautiful Double Room with a View,. It had an very nice setup, with a view of the astronomical clock that was just nice. The breakfast was also quite plentiful, plenty to choose from for a European breakfast to start the day right, even a selection of cheeses and pastries that delighted my senses.

It wasn’t a bargain by any means.

Navigating through multiple staircases due to the lack of elevators is frustrating!!! Communication about room assignments needs improvement to avoid mix-ups and inconvenience!!!

The location of Grand Hotel Praha is superb, situated directly on Old Town Square with stunning views of the Astronomical Clock. My room, a Deluxe Double Room View, was spacious and well-appointed with modern amenities, including air conditioning. The staff provided exceptional service, particularly at the concierge desk, who helped me navigate the city with valuable recommendations, enhancing my business trip significantly. Breakfast offered a variety of options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes that catered to different tastes.

We loved our stay in this hotel, right by the Old Town Square. We enjoyed a lively evening at the National Theatre, made easy since the location is superb! Plus, our room was spacious and comfortable, which was perfect for my mother and us.

My kids wished they had more space to play during our stay. A family lounge would be great for entertaining the little ones.

I had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights where I was thrilled by the tasty breakfast at Cafe Mozart and appreciated the thoughtful to-go box for my early flight. The hotel also offers relaxing massage services and a cozy lounge for unwinding in the evenings. My only minor gripe was the inconsistent hot water, but it didn’t really put a damper on my great experience. 🏨

The location across from the astronomical clock is fantastic. Our room involved many stairs with no elevator, making it tough to access. They organized a great local culture tour for us, which made our stay better.

Had an amazing group trip with friends! We saw performances at the National Theatre and the Rudolfinum, which were all set up for us, saving us from hassle. The breakfast was a real treat! Just remember, some rooms have lots of stairs, so check ahead if that’s an issue.

One downside was the initial room placement. my friends and I struggled with multiple flights of stairs to get to our room. It made things a bit challenging.
